Qualifying cancelled, grid set from FP2
Qualifying 2 at Barcelona was cancelled after a severe weather warning for heavy rain led the Catalan authorities to ban track activity until 14:00 on Sunday, and the race directors judged conditions unsafe. The Race 2 grid was instead set by each driver's fastest lap from the wet FP2 session, for the drivers who did not qualify for Saturday's Race 1. Ben Green's 1:55.165 in the #69 Emil Frey Ferrari gave pole, two tenths ahead of Maro Engel in the #48 Winward Mercedes-AMG. The race started at 18:20 local time.
